What this application is
Vigie Parc is a private, internal reporting tool operated at selfhostlab.tech by the owner of the websites it reports on. It is not a public service and it is not offered to third parties. Access is restricted to authenticated administrator accounts of this site.
What data it accesses
With the explicit consent of the account owner, the application reads, on a read-only basis, data from Google APIs relating to properties that the account owner already owns and administers:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic statistics (sessions, users, page views, channels, countries, device categories, landing pages).
- Google Search Console — aggregated search statistics (clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, queries, pages).
- Google AdSense — aggregated earnings reported per domain.
- Chrome UX Report — publicly available aggregated performance metrics.
The application does not read e-mail, files, contacts, calendars, or any personal data of third parties. It does not write to, modify, or delete anything in those Google accounts.
How the data is stored and used
Retrieved statistics are stored in a private database on the server hosting selfhostlab.tech, and are displayed only to the authenticated operator of this site. The data is used for one purpose: monitoring the performance of the operator’s own websites. It is never sold, rented, published, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, and it is not used to train any model.
Limited Use disclosure
Vigie Parc’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
The account owner may revoke the application’s access at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately stops all further data retrieval.
Visitors to this website
This website is a private administration interface. It does not run advertising, and it does not use analytics or tracking cookies on its own pages. Standard server access logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
